The Artist

A native of Millen, GA, Phillip Young is a 2009 Berklee College of Music Alumnus. While touring the globe extensively, Phillip has been inducted into the New York Blues Hall of Fame and is a GRAMMY nominee for “Best Contemporary Blues Album” with the Joe Louis Walker Band. From a child with a dream and a saxophone to a soulfully talented man with incredible skill, Phillip Young has transcended into, not only an indispensable part of the Boston music scene but more over, a highly gifted musician. The Designer

In the year of 2009, Phillip was met with the opportunity to have his first custom bespoke suit made, not knowing that this opportunity would change his outlook on mens fashion forever. A passionate flame was ignited, and from the fire came the motive to share the clothing, that was designed by him and desired by others, through a collection of menswear. Shortly after this eyeopening experience, AZZIMATO ( www.azzimato.co ) was conceived and officially launched in 2018. Follow @officialazzimato

The Chef

Growing up the youngest of 5 kids, Phillip always found himself wrapped our the legs of his mother, especially while she was in the kitchen. Constantly observing, assisting, and more than willingly taste testing everything, Phillip was unconsciously honed into a future chef. With the desire to be more health conscious, save money, and to know what’s being eaten, becoming his own personal chef and to whoever sat at the table, made the most sense.
